How did I feel during planning this presentation? Why did I feel this way?
A. During the planning I felt fine, I knew what to do and I knew where to find the information.
How did I feel prior to presenting? Why did I feel this way?
A. During the presentation I felt kind of nervous because I was scared that I would mess up or have technical difficulties.
How did I feel while I was presenting? Why did I feel this way?
A. While I was presenting I still felt nervous because I thought I would mess up and because I thought I would, I did mess up.
What did I personally do well?
A. Thought I did well on speaking loudly and had good eye contact
What did not go as desired in this presentation?
A. I didn’t know what to say for some parts, and sometimes I mumbled instead of speaking clearly.
On a scale from 1-10, how well do I think I understood the content? Explain.
A. I would give myself a 9 because I already knew stuff on slaves and I already knew what happened after slaves were freed.
How do I think my group members perceived me? Why do I think this?
A. I think my group perceived me as someone who takes a little bit longer than most to get her work done. I think this because for the slides that I had to do I finally got them done 2 days after Blair had said she wanted them.
How do I think the 8th graders perceived me? Why do I think this?
A. I think the 8th graders perceived me as nervous because during the presentation I was so nervous that I barely knew what to say.
Knowing that I can only control how I act and react, if I could do this presentation again, what would I change about my actions to make it a more ideal experience?
A. I would make cue cards so this way I would know what to say instead of fumbling for the right word.
What are my strengths in groups?
A. My strengths are probably finding pictures and information.
What areas do I need improvement?
A. The areas I need to improve on would be animation.
What is the most important thing I learned about myself? Why is this so important?
A. The most important thing I learned about myself is that if I don’t write down what I’m going to say and don’t practice then I won’t do as well as I want to or as well as I need to.
Are there any other things that I need to express?
A. None that I can think of.

1. This year I've grown because I've learned how to handle stress calmly. Also, I’m not as emotional as I used be.
2. I’m proud of the teachers I have and the people I’m with. In the dlc I have friends I can talk to and do projects with, and I have teachers that are kind and helpful.
3. The thing that I found challenging was doing a project that involved animation because I’m not that good at animation. I mean I can do the basic things, but I don’t really know how to do the really cool, professional effects.
4.My favorite project was probably the brochure because I found it easy and fun. It wasn’t that hard to find the information, and I liked putting in the pictures.
5. For 2nd Semester I hope to do a little better in Writing and I hope to learn some of the really cool, professional effects.
